This can be useful for evading firewall blocks looking for UDFP port 1194 (the default port used by OpenVPN), but doesn't really offer any other advantages. UDP port 443 is just another port. With the built-in Windows 10 SSL-VPN client, if I add ':4445' on the end of the Server IP address Windows thinks it's a Domain Name and attempts to resolve it. Obviously, if I leave :4445 off it attempts the default port which times out.
